About Sally

I am a very warm and loving therapist/counsellor in private practice since 1987. This long experience has enabled me to work with clients from a huge diversity of backgrounds and with a wide range of problems. I see people as unique individuals  and help them to access their inner strengths, resources and the wisdom that comes from the deepest essence of their being.

I obtained the Diploma in Process Oriented Psychology in 1999, I am a member of I.A.P.O.P. (International Association for Process Oriented Psychology), I am accredited by the U.K.C.P (U.K. Council for Psychotherapy), have trained in E.M.D.R. (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprogramming) and am a member of the E.M.D.R. Association (U.K. and Ireland).

I have been a civil servant, a professional astrological counsellor and worked as the counselling coordinator for a counselling service. I served on the teaching faculty of  the Research Society for Process-oriented Psychology (R.S.P.O.P.) from 1999 to 2011 when I was deeply involved with the teaching and supervision of students of Process Work.

In my free time, I am an enthusiastic amateur musician and love walking in the beautiful countryside where I live.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples and small groups, and supervision to other practitioners.

Face to face sessions are available in Manchester city centre, Leeds city centre and near Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire and I can also work on the phone and skype.
